Chelsea also signed a fine young attacker in the form of Christian Pulisic from Borussia Dortmund in the January transfer window 2019 for £56.7 million. The player has been sent on loan to play for the Bundesliga club for the rest of the season and will join Chelsea permanently next summer.
The Blues have brought a significant name in the form of Gonzalo Higuain from Juventus on loan for the rest of the season. The 31-year-old Argentine has been brought into the side as the replacement for the out-of-favour striker Alvaro Morata, who has been sent on loan to play for Atletico Madrid.
