7. Roberto Mancini – £721.41m

Mancini was given the responsibility of leading Manchester City to glory, and it doesn’t come as a surprise that a huge chunk of his spending came at that same period. He bought the likes of Sergio Aguero (£36million) and Edin Dzeko (£33million) as he led the Citizens to their first title of the current era.
6. Arsene Wenger – £867.38m

Arguably the best manager Arsenal as ever had reigned at the club for over two decades, and despite investing a lot in young players, the professor spent a good sum of money in revamping his side. He bought Mesut Ozil for a then club-record fee and used substantial amounts in acquiring the services of Aubameyang and Lacazette.
5. Massimiliano Allegri – £914m

Allegri’s reign at Juventus came to an end at the end of last season, and with a hugely successful stint at the club, he spent an equally large amount of money in keeping the team going in terms of new players. His biggest buy was Cristiano Ronaldo!
Allegri is currently a free agent.
