Despite this, new signings Alexandre Lacazette and Sead Kolasinac are both on at least £100,000 per week. And now Mesut Ozil has signed a contract extension worth £350,000 a week!

Hector Bellerin signed a new contract over the summer that was given a hefty pay rise as a reward for his impresive form in the past two seasons. One of their biggest earners, Alex Oxlade-Chamberlain, was allowed to leave late on in the transfer window.

Arsenal have been criticised of not at signing a good number of players last season as they only managed to sign two players in the previous transfer window. Arsenal’s wage bill is the fifth highest bill in the Premier League behind Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool.

The Gunners are busy paying big wages to players but are failing to deliver the Premier League. Wenger’s men have gone over 10 years without a Premier League trophy. This season the Gunners title hopes seem to be over as they are sitting third in the Premier League

Dude, I know. I said _they_ spelled it wrong by writing it as “Petre Cech”. Please read the whole thing and understand what I wrote before writing a comment which will make you look stupid.

Am shocked Sead Kolasinac is the 4th highest earner…above Aaron Ramsey or Captain Koscielny and Laccazzette..
With such average salaries why cant my beloved Gunners bring in a galactico like Gareth Bale to be just an inspiration to young players ofcoz am impressed by Aubermeyang so far but we cant have one fierce name in a squad if we are to compete for the Champions league…
Get rid of some liabilities like Danny Welbeck and bring us a household name just for the fans. Pliz
And with such a monied team why cant we bring in Caglar Soyuncu too
