10. Sergio Rico
Paris Saint-Germain signed goalkeeper Sergio Rico on a one-year loan from Sevilla. Rico spent last season on loan at Fulham after falling out with then head coach Vincenzo Montella, in the Premier League but was unable to stave off relegation for the Cottagers. He returned to Spain for this season before eventually leaving for Paris.
The 26-year-old featured in 114 games for Sevilla after making his debut having progressed through the youth ranks at his hometown club.
9. Patrik Schick
RB Leipzig signed Roma forward Patrik Shick on loan for the rest of the season. Schick has failed to hit the heights at Roma, with RB Leipzig handing the Czech Republic star a chance to revitalize his career.
The Bundesliga club will pay a fee of €3.5 million, with a further €500,000 depending on certain performance-related conditions being met and they will have the option to make Shick’s transfer permanent. The 23-year-old Czech Republic international joined Roma on an initial loan from Sampdoria in August 2017, having impressed with 11 goals in his maiden Serie A season.
