Who is Barcelona’s most expensive signing? Former Liverpool play maker Philipe Coutinho became Barcelona’s most expensive signing following his move from Premier League side Liverpool to join the Catalan’s in the winter transfer window for a fee of €145 million to become the highest ever fee Barcelona has paid to lure a player to their side.

Since joining the Spanish giants, Coutinho had not been in great form and as a result, he was loaned out to Bayern Munich until the end of season 2019/20.
