Former Liverpool play maker Philipe Coutinho became Barcelona’s most expensive signing following his move from Premier League side Liverpool to join the Catalan’s in the winter transfer window for a fee of €145 million to become the highest ever fee Barcelona has paid to lure a player to their side.

Since joining the Spanish giants, Coutinho had not been in great form and as a result, he was loaned out to Bayern Munich until the end of season 2019/20.
