9) Wayne Rooney swears down a TV camera at West Ham – April 7th 2011
In 2011, Wayne Rooney was coming under increasing pressure on the media for poor form, lack of goals, and lack of leadership at both club and international level. Queue this incident against West Ham United. His hattrick brought United from 2-0 to hand United the 3 points at Upton Park. Upon scoring his 3rd goal, Wayne ran towards the celebrating United fans, shouting down the camera nearby, ‘F***ing what?! What?! F***ing hell!’ before running back towards the halfway line. He received a 2 match ban for his actions.
