4. Billy Bonds
The holder of the record all-time appearances for West Ham United. Billy Bonds started his career at Charlton where he played as a right-back before moving to midfield where he excelled into an amazing midfielder before going back to defensive duties but as a center back before retiring from football.
Billy Bonds joined West Ham United in 1967 where he went on to become a club legend playing for the club for 21 years making 800 appearances for the Hammers making him the leading all-time appearance record holder by far. It was so sad for the Hammers fans never to see their man called up to the English squad. The Englishman was most likely to be called up against the friendly against Brazil in 1981 but was rulled out due to the injury sustained on the last day of the 1980/81 season.
